Required tools:

* Set of keys or sockets
* Flat head screwdriver
* Special key for adjusting the brake band

Instructions:

1. Setting the car to the parking brake.

2. Lifting the car using a jack.

3. Removing the gearbox protective cover.

4. Detection of the belt adjustment mechanism.

It is located on the back of the transmission and usually has a rubber or plastic cap.

5. Removing the protective cap.

6. Insert a special key into the adjustment hole.

7. Turn the key clockwise.

This will tighten the brake band. As you tighten, you will feel an increase in resistance.

8. Checking the belt tension.

Press the brake pedal and listen to the sound of the gear shifting. The tape should be tightened enough to eliminate slipping, but not too tight so as not to damage the automatic transmission.

9. Gap Setting:

If the band is too tight, loosen it by turning the wrench counterclockwise. If it is too loose, tighten it by turning the wrench clockwise.

10. Repeat the belt tension check.

Repeat steps 8 and 9 until you achieve optimal belt tension.

11. Putting the protective cap back into place.

12. Assembling the gearbox protective casing.

13. Lowering the car using a jack.

14. Checking the effectiveness of braking.

Drive the vehicle to ensure that the brake band is adjusted correctly and does not affect gear shifting.

Notes:

*If you do not have a special belt adjustment wrench, you can use pliers or an adjustable wrench to turn the adjustment screw.
*Adjust the brake band with precision. Too little tension can lead to slipping, and too tight a tension can damage the automatic transmission.
*If you are not confident in your abilities, it is best to have your brake band adjusted by a professional mechanic.
