BMW automatic transmission error code: Pressure regulator
Possible reasons:
* Faulty pressure regulator
*Low transmission fluid level
* Clogged transmission filter
* Air in the transmission system
* Faulty electronic transmission control unit (ECU)
* Faulty shift solenoids
Symptoms:
* Difficulty or no gear shifting
* Slipping or delayed gear engagement
* Jerks or jolts when switching
*Transmission fluid leak
Possible solutions:
1. Check the level and condition of the transmission fluid. Add liquid if necessary.
2. Replace the transmission filter.
3. Check for leaks in the transmission system.
4. Bleed the transmission system.
5. Check and, if necessary, replace the pressure regulator.
6. Check and replace the electronic transmission control unit (ECU) if necessary.
7. Check and replace shift solenoids if necessary.
