Automatic and manual transmissions (robotic gearboxes, AMT)
How to use:
1. Automatic mode (D):
*Switch to this mode for fully automatic gear shifting.
* The car will shift to the correct gear depending on the speed and engine load.
2. Manual switching mode (M):
* Enter this mode for manual gear shifting.
*Use the steering wheel paddles or gear selector to shift up and down.
3. Start of movement:
*Press the brake pedal.
* Move the gear selector to position «D» or «M».
* Release the brake and start driving.
4. Gear shift in «M» mode:
* To downshift (reset), pull the steering column switch (-) or move the gear selector to the left (-).
* To shift to a higher gear (upshift), press the steering column switch (+) or move the gear selector to the right (+).
5. Kick-down:
* To accelerate sharply, press the accelerator pedal all the way.
* The car will shift to a lower gear to increase power.
6. Switching warning:
* The instrument panel indicator will illuminate or a beep will sound when upshifting is required.
7. Parking:
* Stop the car.
*Press the brake pedal.
* Move the gear selector to position «P».
Peculiarities:
*Robotic transmissions may be less smooth to operate than traditional automatic transmissions.
* When driving uphill, it is recommended to switch to «M» mode for better control of the gears.
* Do not try to change gears too quickly or abruptly, as this may cause damage.
* Maintain your vehicle regularly, including changing the clutch and transmission fluid.
