P (Park) – Locks the transmission output shaft, locking the vehicle in place.

R (Reverse) – Engages reverse gear.

N (Neutral) – Disconnects the engine from the transmission, allowing the vehicle to roll freely.

D (Drive) – Selects forward ratios, automatically shifting between them as vehicle speed changes.

L (Low Gear) – Used for driving uphill or towing heavy loads.

S (Sport) – Holds gears at higher rpm for faster acceleration and a more aggressive ride.

M (Manual) – Allows the driver to manually select gears, up and down using the steering wheel paddles or gear lever.

+/-/M (Manual mode) – Gives the driver the ability to temporarily change gears manually in automatic mode.

W (Winter) – Starts in second gear for better traction on slippery surfaces.

B (Engine Braking) – Uses the engine to slow the vehicle when coasting without applying the brakes.
