Automatic transmission solenoids 09G

The solenoids in the 09G automatic transmission perform the following functions:

Torque converter lock-up solenoid (N89)
* Locks the torque converter, providing a direct connection between the engine and transmission at high speeds, reducing power loss and improving fuel efficiency.

1st to 2nd gear shift solenoid (N90)
* Shifts from 1st to 2nd gear for smooth and timely shifting.

2nd to 3rd gear shift solenoid (N91)
* Shifts from 2nd to 3rd gear for smooth and timely shifting.

3rd to 4th gear shift solenoid (N92)
* Shifts from 3rd to 4th gear for smooth and timely shifting.

Oil Pressure Control Solenoid (N94)
* Regulates hydraulic pressure in the transmission, providing the necessary pressure to engage and disengage gears.

Shift Line Solenoid (N96)
* Controls the flow of transmission fluid in the various passages of the transmission, ensuring proper operation of the shift solenoids.

Kickdown solenoid (N97)
* Activated when the accelerator pedal is pressed hard, causing the transmission to downshift for increased torque and acceleration.

Final Drive Lock Solenoid (N98)
* Locks the final drive when the vehicle is traveling at high speed, reducing power loss and improving fuel efficiency.
