Golf 4 automatic transmission sensors
Location
1. Input shaft speed sensor:
* On the back of the gearbox next to the speedometer cable
2. Output shaft speed sensor:
* On the front of the gearbox next to the left drive
3. Gear selector position sensor:
* On the outside of the gearbox housing, bottom left
4. Accelerator pedal position sensor:
* Inside the cabin, attached to the accelerator pedal
5. Automatic transmission oil temperature sensor:
* On the automatic transmission oil pan
6. Automatic transmission oil pressure sensor:
*On the gearbox housing, top right
7. Gear shift sensor (for automatic transmission 01V):
* On the gearbox housing, right side
