Tools and materials:

* New 12V 5W lamp (T10 type)
* Small flathead screwdriver

Procedure:

1. Stop the engine and place the gear lever in “P”.
2. Remove the automatic transmission selector panel. Depending on the car model, the panel may be secured with screws or latches. Inspect the panel and find the attachment points.
3. Remove the damaged bulb. Using a small flathead screwdriver, carefully pry the bulb and pull it out of the socket.
4. Insert a new light bulb. Lightly press the new bulb to secure it into the socket. Make sure the light bulb is installed correctly.
5. Reinstall the automatic transmission selector panel. Align the panel with the mounting holes and snap it into place or tighten the screws.

Adviсe:

*Use a new light bulb of the correct type and size.
*When installing a new light bulb, be careful not to touch the glass part. Grease or oil on the light bulb can shorten its life.
*If you have difficulty removing a damaged bulb, you can use tweezers or a small magnet.
*If the transmission selector panel is not secured with screws, you can use a small flathead screwdriver to pry the edges of the panel and remove it.
