Tools:
* Set of keys
* Flat head screwdriver
* 17 mm socket wrench

Procedure:
1. Raise and secure the vehicle.
2. Drain the automatic transmission fluid. Loosen the drain plug under the pan and drain the liquid into a suitable container.
3. Remove the automatic transmission pan. Unscrew the pan mounting bolts using a 17 mm socket wrench. Gently tap the edge of the pan with a flathead screwdriver to release it from the transmission.
4. Remove the old plug. Pry the old cork plug out of the pan using a flathead screwdriver.
5. Clean surfaces. Clean the surfaces of the pan and transmission housing with cleaning solvent and wipe them dry.
6. Install a new plug. Apply a small amount of sealant to the new plug and insert it into the pan. Tighten the plug by hand and then tighten it with pliers or a socket wrench.
7. Reinstall the tray. Apply a small amount of sealant to the seating surface of the pan. Reinstall the pan and tighten the mounting bolts.
8. Fill the automatic transmission with fluid. Refill with the fluid you drained previously or with new transmission oil of the appropriate type.
9. Check the fluid level. Start the engine and let it idle. After a few minutes, shift the gear selector to all positions and return to the park position. Then check the fluid level and add if necessary.
10. Lower the vehicle. Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
