Automatic transmission oil cooler hose

Function:

* Transfer coolant (transmission oil) between the transmission cooling radiator and the automatic transmission.
* Regulate transmission oil temperature, preventing overheating and damage to the transmission.

Design:

*Usually made of durable rubber or metal.
* Has an internal tube for transporting liquid.
* Reinforced with wire mesh for increased strength and flexibility.
* May have end fittings for connection to radiator and automatic transmission.

Location:

* Passes from the transmission cooling radiator to the automatic transmission.
*Can pass through the underside of the vehicle, transmission tunnel or other accessible locations.

Service:

* Check the hose regularly for leaks, cracks or other damage.
*Replace the hose as needed to ensure proper transmission cooling.

Signs of malfunction:

*Transmission oil leak
