Automatic transmission oils for Porsche Cayenne 958:

* Porsche Cayenne 958 (2010-2017): Porsche Transmission Fluid D (ATF D)

Required tools and materials:

* 8 liters ATF D
* Automatic transmission pan gasket
* New automatic transmission filter
* Funnel
* Filling tube
* M10 hex key
* M14 hex key
* M16 hex key
* Drain plug socket
*Torque key

Instructions:

1. Preparation:

* Gather the necessary tools and materials.
* Place the car on a flat surface.
*Run the engine for 5-10 minutes to warm up the transmission fluid.

2. Draining transmission fluid:

* Locate the automatic transmission drain plug under the vehicle.
* Place a container under the drain plug.
* Loosen and unscrew the drain plug using a socket.
* Let the liquid drain for 30-45 minutes.

3. Replacing the automatic transmission filter:

* Locate the automatic transmission pan under the car.
* Loosen the bolts securing the automatic transmission pan using M10 and M14 hex keys.
* Remove the pan and drain the remaining liquid.
* Remove the old automatic transmission filter from the pan.
* Install the new filter onto the pan.

4. Installing a new automatic transmission pan gasket:

* Clean the surfaces of the pan and automatic transmission from the remains of the old gasket.
* Install a new pan gasket.

5. Tightening the automatic transmission pan:

* Reinstall the automatic transmission pan.
* Tighten the pan bolts using a torque wrench in the following sequence: M14 bolts (30 Nm), M10 bolts (10 Nm).

6. Filling transmission fluid:

* Locate the automatic transmission filler plug on the side of the transmission.
* Insert the filling tube into the filling plug.
* Fill new ATF D into the automatic transmission through the filling tube. Add fluid to the level indicated on the dipstick.

7. Checking the fluid level:

* Start the engine and let it idle.
* Shift the gear selector to each position and return to the park position.
* Check the fluid level on the automatic transmission dipstick. The level should be between the “min” and “max” marks when the engine is running.

8. Cleaning the tray:

* Unscrew the M16 bolts from the pallet and clean it of metal shavings and dirt.

9. Resetting the oil change counter:

* Using a diagnostic scanner, reset the automatic transmission oil change interval counter.
