Materials:

* New automatic transmission oil (about 6 liters)
* Automatic transmission oil filter
* Automatic transmission pan gasket
* Sealant for gaskets
* Rags or paper towels
* Funnel
* Wrenches or sockets

Procedure:

1. Prepare the vehicle: Place the vehicle on a level surface and apply the parking brake. Allow the engine to cool.

2. Remove the sump guard (if equipped): Locate the sump guard under the vehicle and remove it using the appropriate wrenches or bolts.

3. Clean the transmission pan: Clean the transmission pan with rags or paper towels to remove dirt and residue.

4. Unscrew the drain plug: Find the drain plug on the automatic transmission pan and unscrew it using a wrench or socket. Place a container under the drain hole to catch the old oil.

5. Drain the old oil: Allow the old oil to drain completely into the container. This may take some time, so be patient.

6. Remove the automatic transmission pan: Unscrew the bolts or nuts securing the automatic transmission pan and carefully remove it, holding the drain plug so as not to spill oil.

7. Replace the automatic transmission oil filter: Remove the old automatic transmission oil filter from the pan and replace it with a new one. Make sure the new O-ring is in place.

8. Clean the surfaces: Clean the surfaces of the automatic transmission pan and automatic transmission housing from gasket and sealant residues.

9. Apply sealant: Apply a thin layer of gasket sealant to the surface of the transmission pan where the gasket will be installed.

10. Install a new gasket: Place the new gasket on the transmission pan and align it.

11. Reinstall the automatic transmission pan: Lift the automatic transmission pan and carefully install it in place, squeezing the bolts or nuts by hand.

12. Tighten bolts or nuts: Tighten the transmission pan bolts or nuts to the specified torque using an appropriate torque wrench.

13. Install the drain plug: Reinstall the drain plug and tighten it.

14. Fill with new oil: Fill the automatic transmission with new oil through the dipstick to the appropriate level.

15. Check the oil level: Start the engine and warm it up to operating temperature. Then, while in Park (P), check the oil level using the dipstick. Add oil if necessary.

16. Reset the «Automatic transmission oil service life» counter: Connect the OBD2 diagnostic scanner to the car and reset the «Automatic transmission oil service life» counter.

17. Install the crankcase guard (if equipped): Reinstall the crankcase guard.

Note:

* It is recommended to change the automatic transmission oil every 60,000 km or 4 years, whichever comes first.
* It is important to use automatic transmission oil recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.
*This procedure is intended as a general guide, actual steps may vary slightly depending on vehicle model and year.
