Materials:
* 6 liters of transmission oil for Mercedes-Benz MB 236.14 (for example, Fuchs Titan ATF 4134)
* New oil filter for automatic transmission (for example, MANN-FILTER W916/2)
* New automatic transmission pan gasket
* 5-liter container for draining old oil
* Funnel and oil blower
* Rags

Procedure for changing the oil in an automatic transmission Mercedes-Benz CLA 250:
1. Preparation
* Start the engine and warm it up to operating temperature.
* Turn off the engine and secure the vehicle with the parking brake.
2. Drain the old oil
* Raise the car using a jack and place stands under the car.
* Locate the automatic transmission pan under the car.
* Loosen the drain plug on the pan using an 8mm hex key.
* Place a 5-liter container under the drain plug and drain the old oil completely.
3. Replacing the oil filter
* After draining the oil, remove the automatic transmission pan using wrenches or sockets.
* Locate the oil filter inside the pan and remove it.
* Install a new oil filter.
4. Installing the automatic transmission pan
* Clean the automatic transmission pan and the adjacent surface on the gearbox from any remaining old oil.
* Install a new pan gasket onto the pan.
* Reinstall the pan and tighten the mounting bolts.
* Tighten the drain plug.
5. Filling with new oil
* Locate the filler neck on the top of the automatic transmission.
* Using a funnel and an oil pump, fill the automatic transmission with 6 liters of new oil.
6. Checking the oil level
* Start the engine and warm it up to operating temperature.
* Move the gear lever to all positions, holding each position for a few seconds.
* Turn off the engine and wait a few minutes for the oil to drain into the pan.
* Check the oil level using the automatic transmission dipstick. The oil level should be between the “MIN” and “MAX” marks.
*Add oil if necessary.
7. End
* Lower the vehicle to the ground.
* Clean all tools and materials.
* Dispose of old oil and filter according to local regulations.
Note: The oil change interval for the Mercedes-Benz CLA 250 automatic transmission is 60,000 km or every 4 years. However, it is recommended to check the oil level and oil condition every 30,000 km.
