P (Park): Applies the parking brake.

R (Reverse): Shifts the transmission into reverse mode.

N (Neutral): Disengages the transmission, allowing the vehicle to roll freely.

D (Drive): Normal forward driving mode, automatically changes gears depending on speed and load.

L (Low): Used for low speed driving, such as off-road driving or towing.

2: Limits shifting to the first two gears only. Used for hill descent or towing.

1: Limits gear shifting to first gear only. Used for steep descents or off-road driving.

S (Sport): Switches the transmission to Sport mode, which provides more aggressive shifting and higher engine speeds.

M (Manual): Allows the driver to manually change gears.

+/-: Allows the driver to change gears manually using buttons or steering wheel paddles.
