Possible causes and solutions:

1. Low transmission fluid level

* Check the fluid level.
* If necessary, add fluid recommended by the manufacturer.

2. Contaminated transmission fluid

* Replace fluid and filter.

3. Transmission fluid level is too high

* Drain off excess liquid.

4. Faulty solenoids

* Solenoids control the gears.
* Diagnose and replace faulty solenoids.

5. Faulty input shaft speed sensor

* The sensor tells the engine control unit (ECU) the rotation speed of the input shaft.
* Replace the faulty sensor.

6. Faulty output shaft speed sensor

* The sensor tells the ECU the rotation speed of the output shaft.
* Replace the faulty sensor.

7. Faulty gear selector

* The gear shift lever tells the ECU the selected gear.
* Check and repair or replace the faulty selector.

8. Faulty Transmission Control Unit (TCU)

* The TCU controls the operation of the transmission.
* Diagnose and replace faulty TCU.

9. Mechanical problems

* Transmission overheating
* Worn or damaged gears, bearings or clutches

Other tips:

* Reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes.
* Check the wiring and connectors going to the transmission.
*Consult a qualified mechanic for diagnosis and repair.

Note: Ignoring transmission kicks can result in further damage and costly repairs. It is recommended to seek professional help immediately.
