Installation procedure:

1. Prepare the vehicle: Raise the vehicle and secure it on supports. Drain the transmission fluid from the gearbox.

2. Disconnect the drive shafts: Remove the rubber boots from the CV joints of the drive shafts. Unscrew the nuts securing the shafts to the gearbox flanges and knock them out using a hammer and mandrel.

3. Disconnect the starter: Unscrew the starter mounting bolts and disconnect it from the gearbox.

4. Disconnect Sensors and Wiring: Disconnect all electrical connectors and sensors from the transmission.

5. Remove the transmission mounting bolts: Loosen and remove all transmission mounting bolts to the engine and mounts.

6. Disconnect the oil pan: Using a screwdriver, pry up and remove the transmission oil pan. Replace the pan gasket with a new one.

7. Install the new oil filter: Screw the new oil filter into place.

8. Install the Transmission: Carefully push the transmission into place, aligning it with the engine and mounts.

9. Tighten the transmission mounting bolts: Tighten the transmission mounting bolts to the specified torque.

10. Connect the oil pan: Reinstall the oil pan and tighten the oil pan bolts. Apply sealant to the pan gasket.

11. Connect the drive shafts: Insert the drive shafts into the appropriate flanges on the transmission. Tighten the shaft nuts.

12. Connect the starter: Reinstall the starter and tighten its mounting bolts.

13. Connect Sensors and Wiring: Reconnect any previously disconnected electrical connectors and sensors to the transmission.

14. Fill transmission fluid: Fill the transmission with new transmission fluid to the required level.

15. Lower the vehicle: Lower the vehicle from the supports.
