Materials required to check the oil level in the Hyundai Solaris automatic transmission:

*Clean cloth or paper towel
* Set of keys or screwdrivers (for some models)

Procedure for checking the oil level:

1. Place the vehicle on a level surface and apply the parking brake.

2. Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes. This will allow the transmission fluid to warm up.

3. Shift the gear selector to Park (P).

4. Stop the engine.

5. Locate the transmission oil level dipstick. On some Hyundai Solaris models it is located in the engine compartment, and on others it is located under the car. The dipstick usually has a yellow or red handle.

6. Pull out the dipstick, wipe it with a clean cloth and reinsert it into the tube.

7. Pull the dipstick out again and inspect it. The oil level should be between the «Min» and «Max» marks on the dipstick.

8. If the oil level is below the «Min» mark, add oil through the dipstick tube. Use the transmission fluid recommended for your vehicle model.

9. Reinsert the dipstick and check the oil level. Repeat the procedure until the level reaches the «Max» mark.

10. If the automatic transmission is overfilled, drain the excess oil.

Note:

* The interval for checking the oil level in the Hyundai Solaris automatic transmission is usually 60,000 km.
*If the transmission oil level is too low or too high, it may affect transmission performance and cause damage.
* If you notice a significant decrease in oil level or notice a leak, you should contact a service station for diagnosis and repair.
