Replacement Instructions:
1. Drain the transmission fluid from the automatic transmission.
2. Remove the automatic transmission pan.
3. Replace the filter.
4. Install the automatic transmission pan with a new gasket.
5. Fill in new transmission fluid.
Note:
*Always use Toyota recommended transmission fluid.
* When replacing the filter, you must also check the condition and, if necessary, replace the automatic transmission pan gasket.
* Before starting the engine after replacing the filter, you must run the engine at idle speed for several minutes to fill the automatic transmission with fluid.
