Automatic transmission filters for Toyota Corolla AE100
There are two types of automatic transmission filters available for Toyota Corolla AE100:
1. Metal mesh filter
* Located inside the automatic transmission oil pan.
* Retains large particles and debris.
*Does not usually require replacement, but should be cleaned every time the transmission is serviced.
2. Paper filter
* Located inside a separate automatic transmission filter installed outside the transmission.
* Retains small particles and contaminants.
* It is recommended to replace every 30,000-50,000 km or when servicing the transmission.
