Automatic transmission (automatic transmission) Chevrolet Aveo T300

The Chevrolet Aveo T300 automatic transmission is a 6-speed automatic transmission with a torque converter developed by General Motors.

Automatic transmission device:

1. Torque converter
* Converts torque from the engine into hydraulic pressure.
* Starts the transmission and ensures smooth gear shifting.

2. Planetary gears
* A set of gears that transmit and change torque and speed.
* The automatic transmission has three planetary gears for six forward gears and one for reverse.

3. Gear shift mechanism
* Selects and turns on the desired gear.
* Controlled by hydraulic pressure or electronic transmission control module (TCM).

4. Hydraulic control unit (HCU)
* Transmits hydraulic pressure to gear shift mechanisms.
*Adjusts pressure flow to control gear shifting.

5. Electronic transmission control module (TCM)
* Controls the operation of the automatic transmission.
* Receives data from sensors and controls the GCU to optimize gear shifting.

6. Sensors
* Monitors the rotation speed of the engine, input and output shafts of the automatic transmission.
* Provides TCM data for automatic transmission control.

7. Differential
* Distributes torque and speed between the drive wheels.

Operating principle of automatic transmission:

* The driver selects the gear using the gear selector.
* The TCM receives data from the sensors and determines the desired gear.
* The TCM commands the hydraulic control unit, which generates hydraulic pressure.
*Hydraulic pressure activates the gear shift mechanisms, which engage the desired gear.
* The torque converter transmits torque from the engine to the input shaft of the automatic transmission.
* Planetary gears vary torque and speed to provide the desired gear.
* The output shaft transmits power from the automatic transmission to the differential and drive wheels.
