Location:
*Located under the center console, next to the gear lever.

Functions:
* Controls gear shifting in an automatic transmission.
* Monitors transmission fluid pressure.
*Detects the condition of the gearbox using sensors.
* Provides interface with other vehicle modules such as the Engine Control Module (ECM).
Fault codes:
* P0700: Transmission control system malfunction
* P0706: Transmission fluid pressure sensor malfunction
* P0730: Input Shaft Speed Sensor Malfunction
Replacing the transmission control unit:
* Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
* Remove the center console.
* Disconnect connectors A and B.
* Unscrew the bolts securing the control unit and remove it.
* Install the new control unit and tighten the bolts.
* Connect connectors A and B.
* Reinstall the center console.
* Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
Note:
* After replacing the transmission control module, the transmission adaptive values must be reset.
* To do this, drive the vehicle in different road conditions so that the transmission control unit can adapt to working with the new gearbox.
