Automotive electrician
Responsibilities:
* Diagnosis and troubleshooting of vehicle electrical system
* Installation and maintenance of electrical equipment including starters, alternators, lights and power windows
* Repair and replacement of wiring and electrical components
* Testing and calibration of electronic systems including engine management systems, ABS and airbags
* Read and interpret electrical diagrams and service manuals
* Carrying out scheduled maintenance and preventive maintenance to ensure uninterrupted operation of the electrical system
* Collaborate with mechanics and other technical specialists to diagnose and resolve complex problems
* Training clients in the basics of operation and maintenance of electrical equipment
Requirements:
*Certificate of Completion in Automotive Electrical or equivalent training
*Minimum 2 years experience as an automotive electrician
* In-depth knowledge of the design and maintenance of automotive electrical systems
* Skills in using diagnostic equipment and testers
* Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams
* Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
Preferred Requirements:
* Knowledge of hybrid and electric vehicles
*ASE Certification or similar professional accreditations
* Experience working with multi-brand cars
* Commitment to continuous training and professional development
