Required tools and materials:
* Wrench set
* Screwdriver set
* New gasket for automatic transmission mounting
* Sealant for gaskets
Instructions:
1. Preparation
* Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
* Block the rear wheels with chocks.
* Raise the car on jacks and secure it with stands.
2. Removing the lower protection
* Determine the location of the lower engine protection.
* Remove the bolts or screws that secure the guard to the vehicle frame.
* Lower the guard and remove it.
3. Disconnecting connectors
* Locate the electrical wiring connectors connected to the automatic transmission.
* Carefully remove them by pressing the plastic latch.
4. Disconnecting cables
* Locate the shift cable and throttle cable connected to the automatic transmission.
* Disconnect the cables by removing the clamps or unscrewing the bolts.
5. Disconnecting hydraulic lines
* Locate the hydraulic lines connected to the automatic transmission.
* Place a container for liquid underneath.
* Carefully unscrew the tubes using wrenches.
6. Separating the automatic transmission from the engine
* Support the automatic transmission with a jack or stand.
* Unscrew the bolts securing the automatic transmission to the engine.
* Carefully separate the automatic transmission from the engine.
7. Installing a new gasket
* Thoroughly clean the automatic transmission mounting surfaces on the engine and automatic transmission.
* Apply gasket sealant to the new gasket.
* Reinstall the gasket.
8. Connection of automatic transmission with engine
* Carefully lift the automatic transmission into place and align it with the engine.
* Tighten the automatic transmission mounting bolts to the specified torque.
9. Connecting hydraulic lines
* Attach the hydraulic lines to the automatic transmission and tighten them to the torque specified in the service manual.
*Add transmission fluid according to the instructions in the manual.
10. Connecting cables
* Connect the shift cable and throttle cable to the automatic transmission.
* Tighten the clamps or bolts.
11. Connecting connectors
* Connect the electrical wiring connectors to the automatic transmission.
* Make sure they are securely fastened.
12. Installing the bottom protection
* Lift the lower engine guard into place.
* Install bolts or screws to secure it to the car frame.
13. Final check
* Start the engine and change gears.
* Check for transmission fluid leaks.
* Check that all automatic transmission-related systems are functioning correctly.
14. Reconnecting the battery
* Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
