Required tools:
* Hex key set
* Torque wrench
Adjustment procedure:
1. Preparation:
* Place the car on a flat surface.
* Disconnect the battery.
* Remove the automatic transmission pan.
2. Checking the position of the earrings:
* Loosen the earring bolts with a 6mm hex key.
* Slide the feeler gauge into the gap between the shackles and the solenoid rod.
*Normal clearance: 0.8mm.
3. Adjusting the position of the earrings:
* If the gap is not correct, adjust it as follows:
* Tighten or loosen the shackle bolts to increase or decrease the clearance accordingly.
* Continue adjusting until the gap is 0.8mm.
4. Bolt tightening:
* Tighten the earring bolts with a torque wrench to a torque of 1.8 Nm.
5. Pallet installation:
* Reinstall the pan gasket.
* Install the pan and tighten the bolts.
6. Battery connection:
* Connect the battery.
7. Checking the operation of the automatic transmission:
* Start the engine and shift the gear selector to different positions.
* Make sure that the automatic transmission operates smoothly and without jerking.
Notes:
* Valve body adjustments must be performed by a qualified mechanic.
* Incorrect adjustment can lead to problems with gear shifting or damage to the automatic transmission.
*If problems occur after adjustment, consult a mechanic.
