Steps:

1. Determine the location of the gear shift cable:

* Open the hood and locate the shift cable. It should run from the gear lever to the gearbox.

2. Unhook the cable from the gear shift lever:

* Locate the cable attachment point to the gear shift lever.
*Use a screwdriver to unhook the clip holding the cable.
* Remove the cable from the gear shift lever.

3. Remove the cable from the transmission:

* Move under the vehicle and locate the cable attachment point on the transmission.
* Use a wrench to loosen the nut holding the cable.
* Pull the cable out of the transmission.

4. Adjust the cable length:

* There is an adjustment screw at the end of the cable.
* Use a wrench to loosen the lock nut on the adjusting screw.
* Rotate the adjusting screw to adjust the cable length.

5. Install the cable on the transmission:

*Insert the cable back into the transmission.
* Tighten the nut to secure the cable.

6. Install the cable on the gear shift lever:

* Insert the cable into the gear shift lever.
* Install the clip to secure the cable.

7. Check the adjustment:

* Shift the car into different gears. Gear shifting should be smooth and without interference.
*If shifting is difficult, adjust the cable a little more.
