Tools:

* 12 mm wrench
* Flat blade screwdriver

Instructions:

1. Locate the shift cable at the transmission: It will be connected to the shift lever on the transmission.

2. Loosen the adjustment nut: Using a 12mm wrench, loosen the nut located on the moving part of the cable.

3. Adjust the adjustment: Move the moving part of the cable forward or backward to adjust the cable tension.

4. Check the tension: Pull the cable by hand to check the tension. It should be tight enough to ensure smooth shifting, but not too tight that it causes difficulty changing gears.

5. Tighten the adjustment nut: Tighten the adjustment nut with a 12mm wrench.

6. Check transmission operation: Start the engine and change gears to ensure they operate properly.

Adviсe:

*For a coarser adjustment, use a flat-blade screwdriver to adjust the socket on the end of the cable that connects to the shift lever.
*If you have difficulty adjusting the cable, it may be damaged or worn and need to be replaced.
* Only adjust the cable when the engine is cold, as heat may affect cable tension.
