Procedure:
1. Remove the protective cover:
* Locate the protective boot covering the brake band adjuster.
* Remove the cover using a flat blade screwdriver.
2. Loosen the locknut:
*Use a wrench to loosen the locknut on the brake band adjuster. Do not remove it completely.
3. Adjust the brake band:
* Insert a flat blade screwdriver into the slot on the regulator.
* Carefully turn the screwdriver clockwise to tighten the brake band or counterclockwise to loosen it.
4. Tighten the locknut:
*After the brake band is adjusted, tighten the locknut while holding the screwdriver at the adjustment point.
Checking the adjustment:
* Start the engine and put the car into park mode.
* Make sure the car does not roll when the parking mode is on.
* If the vehicle is rolling, repeat the adjustment by tightening the brake band a little more.
* Make sure the brake band is not too tight as this may cause excessive wear and poor shifting.
Installing the protective cover:
* Reinstall the protective cover.
*Check the gear shift and make sure the brake band is adjusted correctly.

* The screwdriver hole may be small, so do not use excessive force.
