Location of the adjusting bolt of the Ford Focus 2 restyling automatic transmission:

1. Raise the front of the car and place it on stands.
2. Look under the car and find the automatic transmission housing.
3. The adjusting bolt is located on the right side of the automatic transmission housing, next to the pendulum lever.

Adjustment bolt setting:

1. Unscrew the locknut of the adjusting bolt using a spanner or socket.
2. Insert a hex key into the head of the adjusting bolt.
3. Turn the adjusting bolt one full turn clockwise (to tighten) or counterclockwise (to loosen).
4. Tighten the locknut.

Note:

* The clearance between the swing arm and the adjusting bolt should be approximately 2mm.
* An adjusting bolt that is too tight can lead to wear on the clutches and clutches of the automatic transmission.
* An adjusting bolt that is too loose may cause the gears to slip.
* It is recommended to have the adjuster bolt adjusted by a qualified mechanic.
