Automatic transmission adaptation via VASIA Diagnostic
Required equipment:
* VASIA Diagnostic or VASYA-Diagnostic Pro
* OBD2 cable
Step by step instructions:
1. Connection to car:
* Connect VASIA Diagnostic Tool to the OBD2 connector of the car.
* Establish contact with the vehicle by turning on the ignition.
2. Launch diagnostic software:
* Run the diagnostic software VASIA Diagnostic.
* Select your car type and model.
3. Go to the transmission section:
* From the main menu, select ‘Gearbox’.
*Next select ‘Adaptation’.
4. Selecting the type of adaptation:
* Depending on the transmission type and vehicle model, select the appropriate adaptation type. Common options:
*Basic setup
* Shift point adaptation
* Torque converter adaptation
5. Starting the adaptation process:
*Follow the instructions on the screen. Typically the process includes:
* Starting the engine.
* Shift gears in the order shown.
* Keeping the car in place or moving at a certain speed.
6. Completion of adaptation:
* Once the onboarding process is completed, a success message will appear.
* Click ‘Done’ or ‘OK’.
7. Test ride:
* After adaptation, it is recommended to take a test drive to check the operation of the gearbox.
