Adaptation of automatic transmission Kyron diesel with 5 steps

Automatic transmission adaptation is necessary to ensure that the gearbox works optimally with the engine and other transmission components. Correct adaptation requires special diagnostic equipment.

Automatic transmission adaptation procedure:

Required equipment:

* OBD2 scanner with automatic transmission adaptation function
* Computer

Safety:

* Perform the procedure in a well-ventilated area.
* Wear safety glasses and gloves.
* Remove the terminal from the battery.

Instructions:

1. Connect the OBD2 scanner to the vehicle’s diagnostic port.
2. Install the automatic transmission adaptation software on your computer.
3. Connect your computer to the OBD2 scanner using a cable.
4. Launch the onboarding software and follow the onscreen instructions.
5. Select the model and year of your car.
6. Select automatic transmission type (5-speed).
7. Click the button to start the adaptation process.
8. The car can change gears and turn on the engine.
9. Wait for the onboarding procedure to complete.

Important Notes:

* Do not turn off the engine or change gears during the adaptation procedure.
* Let the vehicle idle for at least 10 minutes after adaptation is complete.
* Test the automatic transmission in different driving modes to ensure it operates correctly.

Lead time:

The adaptation procedure usually takes from 15 to 30 minutes.

Adaptation frequency:

It is recommended to perform automatic transmission adaptation every 30,000-50,000 km or after automatic transmission repair.
