Automatic transmission filters for Toyota 463212F000
Subjective replacement:
1. Gather the necessary tools and materials:
– New automatic transmission filter 463212F000
– Automatic transmission pan gasket
– Automatic transmission fluid (DEXRON III)
– Tray for collecting waste fluid
– Funnel
– 10 mm wrench
– 12mm wrench
2. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
3. Install a tray to collect waste fluid under the automatic transmission.
4. Using a 12 mm wrench, unscrew the bolts securing the automatic transmission pan.
5. Carefully remove the pan, being careful not to spill any liquid.
6. Remove the old automatic transmission filter from the pan.
7. Clean the tray and magnet from metal shavings.
8. Install a new automatic transmission filter on the pan.
9. Install a new automatic transmission pan gasket.
10. Screw the automatic transmission pan to the gearbox using bolts and a 12 mm wrench.
11. Add new automatic transmission fluid to the transmission through the dipstick hole.
12. Start the engine and let it run for 10-15 minutes, changing gears.
13. Check the automatic transmission fluid level and add if necessary.
14. Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
Recommended replacement intervals:
* Every 40,000 – 60,000 km or as specified in the vehicle’s owner’s manual.
