* 5 mm hex key
* Flat head screwdriver
* Container for draining old automatic transmission oil (minimum 6 liters)
* New automatic transmission oil (according to your car manufacturer’s specifications, usually about 4 liters)

Instructions for replacing the automatic transmission filter:

1. Raise the vehicle: Use a lift or jacks to raise the vehicle and provide access to the transmission pan. Make sure the vehicle is raised high enough.

2. Drain the automatic transmission oil: Place a drain container under the automatic transmission pan. Carefully unscrew the pan drain plug using a 10mm tubular wrench. Let the oil drain completely.

3. Remove the automatic transmission pan: Using a 10 mm tubular wrench, unscrew the pan mounting bolts. Carefully remove the pan, being careful not to spill any remaining oil.

4. Replace the automatic transmission filter: Find the old automatic transmission filter and carefully remove it from the housing. Insert the new filter and tighten it lightly with a 5mm hex key.

5. Install the automatic transmission pan gasket: Remove the old pan gasket and install a new one. Make sure the gasket is positioned correctly and is not damaged.

6. Install the automatic transmission pan: Lift the pan and install it in place. Tighten the mounting bolts with a 10 mm tubular wrench. Do not overtighten the bolts.

7. Fill in new automatic transmission oil: Using a funnel, pour new oil into the automatic transmission. Fill with the amount of oil specified in your vehicle’s owner’s manual.

8. Check the automatic transmission oil level: Start the car engine and let it idle for several minutes. Check the automatic transmission oil level using the dipstick. Add oil if necessary.

9. Take a test drive: After changing the filter and oil, take the car for a test drive to check the operation of the automatic transmission.

Note:

*Always check your vehicle’s owner’s manual for specific instructions and specifications.
* The automatic transmission filter should be replaced as needed, usually every 50,000-100,000 kilometers.
* Regularly replacing the automatic transmission filter extends the life of the transmission and ensures smooth gear shifting.
