Reasons why an automatic transmission may squeeze out oil:

1. Overflow of transmission fluid (ATF)

* If the automatic transmission is overfilled, excess pressure can squeeze ATF out of the breathers or other leak points.

2. Defective seals or gaskets

* Worn or damaged seals or gaskets can leak ATF, causing leaks and low fluid levels.

3. Problems with the oil pump

* A faulty oil pump can create excessive pressure, which pushes ATF out of the automatic transmission.

4. Clogged automatic transmission filter

* A clogged filter reduces ATF flow, which can cause excessive pressure and oil squeezing out.

5. Turbine pump malfunction

* A worn or damaged turbine pump can create excessive ATF pressure, causing leaks.

6. Pressure control valve malfunction

* A faulty pressure control valve may not regulate ATF pressure properly, resulting in excessive pressure and leaks.

7. Mechanical damage

* Cracks, breaks or other mechanical damage in the automatic transmission housing can create leak points for ATF.

8. Wear of gears and bearings

* Excessive wear on gears and bearings can create a gap through which ATF can leak.

9. Improper maintenance

*Failure to replace the ATF and filter at the proper time can result in sludge buildup and clogging, leading to pressure problems and leaks.

10. Using the wrong ATF

*Using the wrong ATF can cause viscosity or temperature problems, which can negatively affect ATF pressure and cause leaks.
