Responsibilities:

* Diagnosis and troubleshooting of electrical systems of trucks
* Installation, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment, including starters, alternators, batteries, lighting and electronic systems
* Checking and adjusting truck electronic systems such as engines, transmissions and safety systems
* Installation and connection of additional electrical equipment such as audio systems, navigation devices and security systems
* Compliance with safety regulations and operating instructions

Requirements:

* Knowledge of truck electrical systems and components
* Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical systems
* Understanding of electrical wiring diagrams and electronic devices
* Ability to use diagnostic and testing equipment
* Possession of a Class C or higher driver’s license (if required)
* Physical endurance and ability to work in a variety of conditions

Preferred Skills:

* Knowledge of truck systems such as engines, transmissions and brakes
* Experience operating heavy machinery and equipment
* Skills in soldering and using wire strippers
*Knowledge of Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)
* Computer literacy and ability to use diagnostic software
