Toyota electrical system

The Toyota electrical system consists of the following components:

Battery:
* Provides power to start the engine and power electronic components when the engine is not running.

Generator:
* Charges the battery while the engine is running and powers electronic components.

Starter:
* Starts the engine by turning the crankshaft.

Ignition system:
* Consists of spark plugs, ignition coil and ignition control module. Creates a spark to ignite fuel.

Headlight:
* Provide illumination for drivers and increase visibility at night.

Turn signals:
* Signal lights indicating the driver’s intention to turn.

Stop lights:
* Turns on when you press the brake pedal, warning drivers behind.

Side lights:
* Provide visibility of the car at night.

Instrument panel:
* Displays driver information such as speed, fuel level and warning signals.

Electric windows:
* Allow drivers and passengers to raise and lower windows using electrical switches.

Central lock:
* Allows the driver to lock or unlock all vehicle doors simultaneously using a key or button.

Anti-theft system:
* Prevents vehicle theft by sound warning and engine immobilization.

Other electronic components:
* Cruise control
* Audio system
* Navigation system
* Rear view camera
