Checks before starting:

* Make sure the gear shift lever is in Park (P) position.
* Fasten your seat belt.
* Insert and turn the ignition key (or press the start button).

Starting the engine:

1. Press the brake pedal and keep it depressed.
2. Turn the ignition key to the “Start” position (or press and hold the start button).
3. The engine will start.
4. Release the ignition key (or release the start button).

Notes:

*For vehicles with keyless entry and start, press and hold the Start button until the engine starts.
* If the engine does not start, repeat the procedure. If the problem persists, check the battery, starter, and other ignition components.
* Never shift the gear lever while the engine is running.
* After starting the engine, the brake pedal can be released and the vehicle will remain in the park position.

Gear shift:

1. Press and hold the brake pedal.
2. Move the gear shift lever to the desired position (D, R, N, etc.).
3. Release the brake pedal and the car will begin to move in the selected direction.

Notes:

* Do not change gears at high speeds.
* If the transmission does not shift, check the transmission fluid level and the condition of the shift cables.
* In emergency situations, you can switch to Neutral (N) to reduce engine speed and disengage the clutch.
