Reset automatic transmission adaptation SsangYong Actyon

Required materials:

* OBD2 scanner
* Paperclip or similar item

Before the start:

* Make sure the engine is off and the gear shift lever is in the “P” position.

Steps:

1. Connect the OBD2 scanner to the vehicle’s diagnostic connector. It is usually located under the steering column or in the glove compartment.
2. Turn on the ignition, but do not start the engine.
3. Using a paperclip or similar object, connect pins 16 (power) and 4 (ground) to the diagnostic connector.
4. The Check Engine light on the dashboard should start flashing. This means that the diagnostic function is activated.
5. Wait until the Check Engine light stops flashing and stays on. This means that the automatic transmission adaptations have been reset.
6. Turn off the ignition and disconnect the OBD2 scanner.
7. Start the engine.

Note:

*If you do not have an OBD2 scanner, you can manually reset the automatic transmission adaptations by driving the car for 10-15 minutes in different driving modes.
*After resetting the adaptations, it is recommended to drive the car for some time to allow the transmission to adapt to your driving style.
*If the problem with the automatic transmission persists, it is recommended that you contact a qualified mechanic.
