Nissan Maxima automatic transmission valve body repair

Required materials:

* Tool set for automatic transmission
* Hydroblock
* Gaskets and O-rings
* Transmission fluid
* Automatic transmission filter

Repair steps:

1. Removing the valve body:

* Disconnect the battery.
* Drain the transmission fluid.
* Remove the automatic transmission pan.
* Disconnect the electrical harness from the valve body.
* Unscrew the bolts securing the hydraulic unit and remove it.

2. Diagnostics and repair of the valve body:

3. Valve block assembly:

5. Installing the automatic transmission pan:

* Tighten the mounting bolts.

6. Filling with transmission fluid:

* Fill the automatic transmission with new transmission fluid.
* Check the fluid level and add if necessary.

7. Starting the engine and checking:

* Connect the battery.
* Start the engine and let it idle.
* Change gears and check for smooth shifting.
* Check the fluid level again and add if necessary.
