Installation diagram for additional automatic transmission radiator

Tools and materials:

* Additional automatic transmission radiator
*Transmission hoses
* Gear oil
* Wrench set
* Lift or ramp

Steps:

1. Preparation:

* Lift the car using a lift or drive it onto ramps.
* Remove the engine bottom cover to gain access to the automatic transmission.

2. Removing the original hoses:

*Locate the original transmission cooler hoses, usually located on the top side of the transmission.
* Disconnect the hoses using a wrench.
* Carefully drain any remaining fluid from the hoses.

3. Preparing additional hoses:

* Cut the transmission hoses to the required length to connect the auxiliary radiator outlets to the connection points on the automatic transmission.

4. Installing an additional radiator:

* Select a location to install the optional radiator where it will have sufficient air flow.
* Install the radiator using fasteners.

5. Radiator connection:

* Connect one end of each transmission hose to the corresponding outlet of the auxiliary radiator.
* Connect the other end of each hose to the connection points on the automatic transmission.

6. Filling and flushing:

* Fill the gearbox with gear oil to the appropriate level.
* Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes, shifting between gears.
* Drain the oil and repeat the flushing process again.

7. Check for leaks:

* Carefully inspect all connections for leaks.
* Tighten if necessary.

8. Installing the bottom engine cover:

* Reinstall the engine bottom cover.

9. Checking the fluid level:

* Allow the vehicle to cool and check the transmission fluid level.
*Add fluid if necessary.

Adviсe:

*Use high quality transmission hoses that are resistant to heat and pressure.
* Make sure hose connections are securely tightened.
*Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for maintaining the optional radiator.
* Regularly check the transmission fluid level and condition of the hoses.
