Materials:

* Motor oil
* Funnel
* Gloves
* Rags

Steps:

1. Preparing the car

* Park the car on a level surface.
* Put the car in park and apply the parking brake.
* Open the hood and find the automatic transmission oil pan dipstick.

2. Checking the oil level

* Remove the dipstick and wipe it with a clean cloth.
* Insert the dipstick back into the hole and pull it out again.
* Check the oil level. It should be between the “min” and “max” marks on the dipstick.

3. Drain the old oil

* Locate the drain plug on the automatic transmission oil sump.
* Place an oil pan under the plug.
* Unscrew the drain plug and drain the old oil.
* Replace the drain plug with a new gasket and tighten it.

4. Filling with new oil

* Insert a funnel into the oil dipstick hole.
