Required materials:
* Electrical harness for trailer
* Connector for trailer socket
* Electrical tape
* Crimper for electrical connectors
* Stripping wires (optional)
Step by step instructions:
1. Preparing the trailer electrical harness
* Unwind the trailer electrical harness and disconnect the trailer connector from the harness.
*Cut the harness to the desired length to connect it to the vehicle’s wiring.
2. Connecting wires to the trailer socket connector
*Find the correct trailer socket connector for your vehicle.
* Connect the wires from the trailer electrical harness to the terminals on the trailer socket connector, observing the following color scheme:

3. Secure connections
* Secure the trailer socket connector clamps to protect the connections.
* Wrap all connections with electrical tape to prevent moisture ingress and corrosion.
4. Connection to car wiring
* Locate the vehicle’s taillights and identify the corresponding wires.
*Using wire connectors or the twisting method, connect the trailer harness wires to the tail light wires, following the color chart in Section 2.
* Connections must be securely fastened and protected.
5. Testing
* Turn on all the lights on the trailer and check if they are working correctly.
* Make sure your brake lights, turn signals and rear fog lights are working.
