Possible reasons:

Transmission problems:

*Low oil level in gearbox
* Worn clutch clutches
* Torque converter malfunction
* Incorrect operation of gearbox solenoids

Engine problems:

* Faulty crankshaft or camshaft sensor
* Dirty spark plugs or fuel injectors
* Clogged air filter
* Ignition coil malfunction

Electronics problems:

* Malfunction of the engine control unit (ECU) or automatic transmission
* Incorrect operation of transmission sensors
* Contamination of contacts of electrical connections

Other reasons:

* Worn engine or transmission mounts
* Wheel imbalance
* Problems with the fuel system (low fuel pressure, faulty fuel pump)
* Poor quality fuel

Diagnostics and repair:

1. Check the oil level in the automatic transmission. If the oil is low, add it to the required level.
2. Connect the diagnostic scanner. The scanner can identify trouble codes that indicate the specific cause of the problem.
3. Visually inspect the engine and transmission. Look for any oil leaks, broken parts or signs of wear.
4. Check the spark plugs, fuel injectors and air filter. Replace worn or dirty components as necessary.
5. Perform automatic transmission adaptation. This will reset the transmission’s adaptive settings and may eliminate shifting problems.

Contact an experienced mechanic for professional diagnosis and repair if you cannot fix the problem yourself.
