Fault diagnosis

1. Check the battery

* Measure the battery voltage with a multimeter. It should be above 12.6 volts.
* Check battery terminals and cables for corrosion or loose connections.
* Try starting the engine using jumper cables.

2. Check the ignition system

* Check the spark plugs for spark.
* Check the ignition coils.
* Check the ignition distributor (if equipped).

3. Check the fuel supply system

* Check the fuel filter for blockages.
* Check the fuel pump for functionality.
* Check the fuel pressure regulator.

4. Check other electrical components

* Check the generator.
* Check the starter.
* Check the ignition switch relay.

Additional tips:

*Check the fault codes in the vehicle’s ECU.
* Check fuses and relays for blown or damaged ones.
* Check electrical wires for breaks, damage or loose connections.
* Check the air filter for blockages.
* Try resetting the ECU by disconnecting the negative terminal of the battery for a few minutes.
