Main responsibilities:

* Diagnosis and troubleshooting of vehicle electrical system
* Repair and replacement of electronic components such as batteries, alternators, starters and wiring
* Installation and configuration of electrical equipment such as ignition systems, lighting systems, sound systems and climate control systems
* Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems
* Reading and decoding fault codes
* Participation in the development and testing of new electrical systems

Requirements:

* Licensed Automotive Electrician or Technical Degree in Automotive Electrical Engineering
* Knowledge of the operating principles of vehicle electrical systems
* Experience with power tools and diagnostic equipment
* Ability to read electrical diagrams and troubleshoot problems
*Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
* Physical endurance to work in various conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with hybrid and electric vehicles
* Certified to vehicle electrical safety standards
* Knowledge of the latest automotive electrical technologies
