Location:

* Under the car, in the lower part of the automatic transmission housing.

Description:

* A metal plug with a copper or aluminum O-ring attached to it.

The following tools are required to remove and install the drain plug:

* 17mm ratchet wrench
* New drain bolt (recommended)
* New O-ring (recommended)

Removal instructions:

1. Make sure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the parking brake is set.
2. Raise the car using a jack and secure it on stands.
3. Locate the drain plug under the automatic transmission housing.
4. Place a tray or container under the drain hole to collect used oil.
5. Loosen the drain plug using a ratchet wrench.
6. Allow the used oil to drain into a pan or container.

Installation instructions:

1. Clean the drain plug and hole of any debris.
2. Apply a small amount of thread sealant to the threads of the drain plug.
3. Install a new O-ring on the drain plug.
4. Screw the drain plug back into the hole by hand until it is seated.
5. Tighten the drain plug using a ratchet wrench to the recommended torque (usually 25-30 Nm).
6. Lower the vehicle to the ground and remove the stands.
