Battery

* Provides power to all vehicle electrical components.

* Distributes battery power to various systems.

Fuses and relays

* Protect electrical circuits from overload and short circuits.
* Relays turn various systems on and off at the command of switches or sensors.

Electrical harness

* Wire package connecting all electrical components.

Ignition system

* Creates an electric spark to ignite the air-fuel mixture in the cylinders.
* Includes ignition coil, spark plugs and Electronic Engine Control Module (ECM).

Lighting system

Body Control System (BCM)

* Controls vehicle comfort and safety, including power windows, door locks and climate controls.

Passive Restraint System (SRS)

* Provides occupant protection in the event of an accident, including airbags and seat belts.

Audio system

* Provides entertainment and information.
* May include a radio, CD player or digital music player.

Climate control system

* Maintains a comfortable temperature inside the car.
*May include air conditioning, heater and fans.
