Checking the automatic transmission oil level in Toyota Funcargo

Materials:

* Automatic transmission oil level dipstick
*Clean rag or paper towel

Instructions:

1. Place the car on a level surface. This will ensure an accurate oil level measurement.
2. Start the engine and warm it up to operating temperature. This usually takes about 10-15 minutes of driving.
3. Park the car (P).
4. Remove the automatic transmission oil level dipstick. It is located in the engine compartment next to the radiator strut.
5. Wipe the dipstick with a clean rag or paper towel.
6. Insert the dipstick back into the tube until it stops.
7. Remove the dipstick again.
8. Check the automatic transmission oil level using the marks on the dipstick. There should be two marks: “HOT” and “COLD”.

Optimal level:

* On a hot engine (HOT): Between the “HOT” and “COLD” marks.
* On a cold engine (COLD): Below the “COLD” mark, but not below the minimum mark on the dipstick.

Important:

* Do not overfill the automatic transmission with oil. This may damage the transmission.
* If the automatic transmission oil level is below the minimum level, it is necessary to add oil. Use only automatic transmission oil recommended by the manufacturer.
* If you notice an automatic transmission oil leak, contact a mechanic to diagnose and fix the problem.
