Automatic transmission oil type for Renault Duster with front-wheel drive

* Recommended oil: DP0
*Alternatives: DEXRON-III, MERCON
* Filling volume: about 6 liters

Automatic transmission oil change interval:

* Manufacturer’s instructions: Every 60,000 km or 4 years
* Recommended interval: Every 40,000-50,000 km or 3 years in heavy use conditions

Checking the automatic transmission oil level:

1. Start the engine and warm it up to operating temperature.
2. Switch the automatic transmission selector to the “Parking” position (P).
3. Remove the automatic transmission oil dipstick and wipe it with a clean cloth.
4. Insert the dipstick back into the transmission and pull it out again.
5. Check the oil level on the dipstick. It should be between the “MIN” and “MAX” marks.

Note:

* Do not use oils that do not meet the specified specifications, as this may cause damage to the automatic transmission.
* Regularly check the automatic transmission oil level and replace it in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
* If you notice an oil leak from the automatic transmission or unusual noises, immediately contact a car service center for diagnosis and repair.
