Reasons for low oil pressure in automatic transmission:

1. Leaks
* Worn or damaged seals, gaskets or hoses
* Cracks or damage to the gearbox housing

2. Faulty oil pump
* Wear or damage to pump parts (gears, shaft, housing)
* Clogged oil intake or strainer

3. Problems with the torque converter
*Low oil level in torque converter
* Worn or damaged support bearings
* Damaged pump blades

4. Clogging
* Clogged oil filter
* Clogged oil passages or cooling lines
* Carbon or deposits in the transmission housing

5. Mechanical problems
* Worn or damaged friction discs or steel plates
* Worn or damaged gears or shafts

6. Overheating
* Insufficient coolant level in the radiator
* Clogged coolant lines or oil filter
* Faulty temperature sensor

7. Low oil level
* Insufficient transmission fluid
* Leaks due to damaged seals or hoses

8. Incorrect oil viscosity
* Using an oil with the wrong viscosity for a specific gearbox

9. Problems with electronics
* Faulty oil pressure sensor
* Problems with wiring or electrical connections
