Automatic transmission control

Selector positions:

*P (Parking): Locks the transmission when the vehicle is parked.
* R (Reverse): Activates reverse gear.
* N (Neutral): Disconnects the engine from the transmission, similar to the clutch in a manual transmission vehicle.
* D (Drive): The main gear for moving the vehicle forward.
*S (Sport Mode): Provides a more aggressive shifting style by holding gears to higher rpms.
* L (Low): Used for going down hills or towing a trailer.

Usage:

Lever setting:

*Press the brake pedal.
* Move the selector lever from position P to the desired position. Release the brake pedal to shift into the selected gear.

Gear shift:

* To change gears between D, S and L, simply move the selector lever to the desired position.
* To shift into reverse, stop the vehicle, press the gear shift button (if equipped) and move the lever to the R position.

Parking:

* Stop the car completely.
* Press the brake pedal and move the selector lever to position P.
* Turn off the engine and remove the keys from the ignition.

Adviсe:

* Never change gears without pressing the brake pedal.
* Do not drive in neutral (N) as this may damage the transmission.
* Do not shift into reverse (R) until the vehicle has come to a complete stop.
* Do not press the accelerator pedal when changing gears.
*Service the transmission regularly according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
