Preparation:

*Before driving, make sure you fully understand the functions of the automatic transmission.
* Find a place to practice, such as an empty parking lot or a sparsely populated road.

Getting started:

1. Make sure the car is started. The automatic transmission does not work when the engine is turned off.
2. Place the selector in the “P” (park) position. This ensures that the car does not roll.
3. Press the brake pedal. This is a safety measure that prevents the selector from being switched if the vehicle is not stationary.
4. Move the selector to position “D” (forward movement).
5. Release the brake pedal. The car will start moving.
6. Accelerate by pressing the accelerator pedal.
7. Brake by pressing the brake pedal.

While driving:

* To shift to neutral, move the selector to the “N” position. This is useful when you are at a traffic light or in a traffic jam.
* To shift into reverse gear, move the selector to the “R” position. Make sure the path behind is clear before you engage reverse.
*Manual Shift: Most automatic transmission vehicles have a manual shift mode. This allows you to change gears manually using the steering wheel paddles or the gear lever.

* Relax and don’t be nervous.
* Take time to practice and take your time.
*Pedal in a smooth and controlled manner.
* Pay attention to the tachometer and speedometer readings to monitor engine speed and rpm.
* Do not change the selector while driving. This may damage the transmission.

Warnings:

* Never move the selector lever to the “P” (park) position while driving.
* Do not put your foot on the brake pedal when the car is parked. This can lead to premature wear of the brake pads.
* Regularly service the automatic transmission in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
